Hi Trilok,

The JTAG_ID for both DM6443 and DM6446 are the same (0x0B70002F). DM6443 and 
DM6446 are just two different Device Part Numbers. Because of this reason I 
changed dm6443 to dm644x.

I think this is the place, where TI can help to uniquely identify the
processor parts based on JTAG_ID/die id fields. If you know the unique
fields of manf. id/varian/part_no/jtag_id then you can have separate
cpu_is_davinci_6443 and cpu_is_davinci_6446 along with
cpu_is_davinci_644x()
