Phil,
I need to save audio data in wave format .
- Is wav data can only be played in windows os ?
- Recording wave data needs to require follow a process that include set wave
format ,filling header ...and more .I followed
http://bcbjournal.org/articles/vol2/9810/Low-level_wave_audio__part_3.htm
and found that ur code doesnt use functions like waveInOpen, waveInPrepareHeader
and more .Could u throw some light how did u record and playback it in ur test
code ?
