Phil, We do not have any display device connected to the DM355. I guess the "application" will have to auto start along with another "updater service" and both can be running together I guess. When the user needs to update the "application", he will connect a PC on ethernet to DM355 and send a command to DM355 that it wants to update the "application". This command can be received by the updater service in DM355 which will then close the "application" already running as it needs to be updated. The "updater service" will ask the PC to specify the file location and user will specify that in interactive manner. The updater will then pick it from specified location and copy it to the NandFlash location where it is supposed to be. Can we still use the RPM for the application?
