Hi Brijesh,
Thanks for your help.
Now I am able to restart video streaming when input is disconnected and
connected again.
I have one more query.
Currently I am using VIDIOC_G_INPUT ioctl for detecting input and based on
that I am deciding that the input is reconnected.
Is there any othre way to know that video input is reconnected??
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Dhaval Vadhar

Hi,
You will have to en-queue some buffers before starting streaming again since
stream off removes all buffers from the queues.
Thanks,

Hi ,
Thanks for the solution. I also have the same problem and have tried
the
solution that you provide. I just stop and start video streaming again
when
the video is disconnected and connected again. But I am not able to
start
video streaming after stop it.
Following is the error log of the restart video streaming when video
input
is disconnected and connected again:
Video streaming is stopped
vpif capture vpif capture.1: buffer queue is empty
!!! Alignment trap: App (1162) PC=0x0002030c Instr=0xe5933024
Address=0x0007cc23 FSR 0x001

Please help on this...
Thanks in advance.
