Thanks for your help. I need more help on using edma in descriptor mode. i.e. use the edma_link and edma_alloc_slot functionality. How are these functions used? In LSP2.10 there was only one call davinci_request_dma, whereas in 3.10 we will have to use edma_alloc_channel and edma_alloc_slot functions.
How to make use of these? -----Original Message----- From: Nori, Sekhar [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 28 April 2010 18:44 To: Suhas Jain Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: TVP5158 driver with DVSDK 3.10 Hi Suhas, On Wed, Apr 28, 2010 at 12:39:00, Suhas Jain wrote: > Hello All, > > I am trying to port TVP5158 driver for dvsdk 3.10. The following notes should help: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/DaVinci_PSP_3.02_Linux_Installation_ User_Guide#EDMA You can also look at drivers like VDCE (drivers/char/davinci_vdce.c) as an example.
