Hi ,

Are you evnironment variables for sidadm or db2sid
users set correctly for TSM ?
Following are the variables set :

DSMI_DIR=/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin
DSM_DIR=/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin
DSMI_LOG=/db2/PRD/errors
DSMI_CONFIG=/db2/PRD/sqllib/adsm/dsm.opt
DSM_CONFIG=/db2/PRD/sqllib/adsm/dsm.opt
DSM_LOG=/db2/PRD/errors

Second,

Check for the following two files in
<insthome>/sqllib/adsm directory :

dsm.opt
dsm.sys
These files must exist in the directory.
Make sure abt the file permissions also. (
/sqllib/adsm is a link to /usr/lpp/db2_07_01/adsm )

I have had similar problem after upgrading from V6.1
to V7.2. The above mentioned two files were not
present in db2_07_01/adsm dir, i had to copy the files
from db2_06_01/adsm which worked successfully.

HTH,

Ravi.
