We currently do replication here, but it's pretty simple stuff. Just one
way, going up to the mainframe from a server. We are considering using it
for disconnected users that work remotely. I've looked at the redbook "
IBM Replication Solutions for Pervasive Computing with DB2 Everyplace and
DB2 Satellite Edition", which describes what we would want to do. It's a
couple of years old, so it might be out of date with V8 - given that
replication has changed some in V8.

Does anybody have an experience in replicating to a mobile user? I'm
curious if anybody can speak of any successes using this scenario?

Thanks in advance,
John
