- mark an arbitrary database file (.odb) readonly in the file system
- start OpenOffice.org
- open this database file
- View|Objects|Tables
- double click an arbitrary table
=> the table data view opens
- change the column width of an arbitrary column of this table
- close the table data view
- close the DB document
=> you're asked whether you want to save the changes. This shouldn't happen for
a document which is opened readonly
