Status set to INVALID as this problem seems to have arisen because of the use
of a particular upgrade path (from V2.4.2). This path may not be the standard
path that users follow when upgrading to OO V 3.1.
I have experienced some further OO 3.1 database lockups, where I have been
unable to save a CALC spreadseet to a .DBF file. However, unlike the lockup
reported in this thread, I have been able to clear these more recent lockups by
closing both OO and the OO Quickstarter (or by rebooting my PC).
