When I first tried to start Base there was quite a lot of hard disc activity. When I try to start Base now (having attempted this several times) there is only a brief amount of hard disc activity. The number of processes running temporarily increases from 79 to 82 and then reverts back to 79. soffice.bin and soffice.exe appear to be running all the time (including before I try to start Base). Base does not show on the applications page of task manager when I attempt to start it. Math does show on the application page when I start it.
