Using Solaris 10 (SPARC) with ODBC (unixODBC 2.2.14). tried ODBC drivers
StarQuest StarSQL 5.51 (pre-release) and IBM DB2 ODBC Driver 8.2fp14.

(note that I work for StarQuest)

Using sbase, I open a table that should be updatable (the table has both
aprimary key and a unique index). The OpenOffice GUI gives the indications that
the table is updatable (the Edit Table button in the taskbar ribbon is enabled,
I have a new row at the bottom, or can select an existing value) but I can't
enter any data - I do not see any echoing of my typing, and the fields do not
get updated.

I am seeing the problem with both of the ODBC drivers listed above.

I do not have this problem with JDBC.

I also do not have this problem using OpenOffice 3.1.1 on a Linux system (SUSE
10 32-bit) or with an older version (2.2) of OpenOffice on the Solaris system.

i.e. it seems to be specific to using ODBC on Solaris with OO 3.1.1
