discussed again with AW, according to him, the better idea would be to introduce
a PostPaint in VCL, and connect it to the drawing layer.
Then, the drawing layer would, during the "normal" paint, collect a list of
objects which are not to be processed during this paint, but only in
"post-paint". Form controls having a visible VCL window representation would be
very good candidates for such objects ...
