This sounds very unperllike to me, and, of course, DBD::Pg is a perl module. Maybe we should let Tim decide if we should have a maintainter in the perl community? And besides has Jeffrey Baker officially abdicated? As it seems that you have responded to the problem that he was having viz., about not being able to conatact any of the PostgreSQL developers. -r
