That is it, and it's designed for postgresql beginners, but not for database
beginners, since it jumps right into concepts and how they are related to
postgresql.  It then goes through most of the API's avalable, C, C++, Perl,
PHP, etc... Also a good section on how to expand functionality with stored
procedures in C.  And the last it provides a great reference all all
functions, etc...  Check it out, I looked at it a few days ago and was
impressed by no-nonsense approach, but different writting styles are for
different people, so I would recommend first looking at it at your local
book store if you can, before buying.

On the Addison-Wesley site, the only book I could find is

    PostgreSQL: Introduction and Concepts

by Bruce Momjian.  Amazon had some others, but I'm interested
in the one that you're referring to - good tutorial and a full
reference?  Which one is that?
