DB2 client software licensing?

Does anyone know the least-cost licensing option for
the client libraries needed to build DBD::DB2 ?
Our platform is Solaris.

We need to connect to a DB2 system (not our own)
using DBI:DBD::DB2 but have no need to run a server.
