You may want to consider EmbPerl, which is dynamic Perl embedded within HTML
tags, in a similar manner to JSP and others:

Another way of embedding Perl within HTML is the Mason project:

With PHP4 and the Zend engine (http://www.zend.com/), much more Perl-like
regular expression type syntax has been added to PHP, but then PHP was always
