I saw that @INC included "." so I put the .pm files in the cgi-bin
directory. Then the error messages changed from "can't find module" to
can't find method connect and references my connect statements.

I use HTTP base command to root relative path names back from the home
page (so images come in without revealing where cgi-bin is.
