I am trying to get a distributed app going using DBI:Proxy to connect to an
Oracle database. The problem is there are many remote sites which need
to get the Bundle::DBI installed so DBI::Proxy will work for them.
I finally got someone to install it for me, and when I try to use DBI::Proxy
on their Solaris 7 machine, I get this error:
DBI->connect(****) failed: Cannot log in to DBI::ProxyServer: Unexpected EOF
from server at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/RPC/PlClient.pm line 83.
Is there a problem with RPC::PlClient on solaris 7? Anyone else get this
error?
