When I try to perl Makefile.PL, I am always instructed to set the environmental
variables POSTGRES_LIB and POSTGRES_INCLUDE. I have read the instructions posted for
others with similar problems and attempted these solutions, but I haven't been able to
set the variables in a way that will resolve this problem. I believe I may be missing
an intuitive step, as I am new to linux. I would greatly appreciate a detailed
explanation of how to solve this problem.
