Dear Tim,
After further investigation, it seems tha t the install is not using
GNU tools. The Config.pm
file says 'cc'. Apparently Perl was built and installed back at Sun
using 'cc'. This was the copy handed out on the CD-ROM. I don't have
'cc installed on this particular machine, only 'gcc'. So my question
is...how can I rerun a 'configuration' so that the correct parameters
are placed in Config.pm; or if that's not possible..what are the
appropriate flags for 'gcc' and 'ld' in Config.pm, or the DBI Makefile?
