Definitelly OT, but with a vision of a small chance that you might
reconsider your project, you can easily do it with Perl and DBI. This list
will definitelly help, since this issue was brought up here more than plenty
of times.
Also Paul's new book "Mysql and Perl for the Web" has an example of
accomplishing this with Perl DBI and MySQL.
