Greetings; we are attempting to build DBI::Oracle under Redhat 7.2 for Oracle 8.1.6 and are encountering a linker error. The exact error is "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lclntsh" The linker version is "GNU ld version 2.11.90.0.8 (with BFD 2.11.90.0.8)".
Anyone have any insight? I have logs of the 'perl Makefile.PL -v' and "make' steps if anyone would like to see them.
