A new version (0.51) of SPOPS (Simple Perl Object Persistence with
Security) has been released to CPAN.

SPOPS is a robust and powerful module that allows you to serialize
objects. You can create most objects without any code, just
configuration.

This is mostly a bugfix and enhancement release. In particular, LDAP
persistence has been improved.

This release also includes the first version of the SPOPS
manual. Parts of it are still incomplete (or even missing), but the
general framework is there and should provide guidance to the overall
system.
