DBD::Informix and using //machine/path/to/dbase

Hi all,

Can anybody provide me with an example how
to write //machine/path/to/dbase,
I mean what do i need to put in the place
of /path/to/dbsae ??

Is this notation complient with IDS 7.x and up?
