I am not sure if this is the right place to be asking such a question? I am writing a sniffer in perl and would like to be able to decode data in TCP packets from SQL clients and servers. I was wondering if there was part of the DBI that I could use to decode the raw data, or if someone could point me to the protocol specs for SQL.
