Hi Simon,

When you msg arrived I had come across a copy of Microsoft Office 2000 Visual Basic 
Programmer's Guide and read about the NewCurrentDatabase method in Chapter 5.  I was 
coding up a test of it in OLE, but I found your ODBC code very instructive, 
particularly the ConfigDSN command syntax.
