Hi, Tim: My name is Pei and I work for the comany Lightbridge in Fremont, California.
I have problems to install DBI and DBD::Oracle modules to my solaris machines. On those machines, we don't have C/C++ development environment setup, no compilers at all on those machines. Everythin we do is on Java and Perl so all developments are on NT platforms. My question is: why do we have to build it? Can we just get a complied version of Perl packaged and shipped? If you know such a package exist, please tell me. It was easy to install the whole thing (DBI & Oracle DBD) on NT. Thanks a lot for help. --pei
