MySQL and Transactions

Hello all ..

If I am using a MySQL table type that supports transactions (InnoDB), 
will the DBI calls support transactions as well (the DBD specification 
for MySQL says it does not support transactions, but I dont think they 
had InnoDB tables in mind).
