What was the problem installing from source.  As far as I know, that's the
only way, unless someone can provide you a binary for your specific machine
arch.

If you tell us what's wrong, then we'll help you.  One thing to note, is
that you must have mysql client libs installed, before trying to compile
DBD::Mysql, also don't forget to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point there.

Can anyone point me to a good resource for installing the mysql module
for DBI?
I have redhat 7.2 with ActiveState Perl-5.6, but I cannot find a PPM for
DBI::MYSQL or DBD::MYSQL.

I also tried to build and install the dbi:mysql stuff from source, and
haven't had any luck.

What am I missing?
