   Actually, I have and I do understand the FreeTDS requirements for the
module.  I'm looking for some real world feed back from those who might be
using it or have tried it.  As you may have run into, certain cruicial
points are often mentioned only as a "oh, by the way" in documention indexes
or mailing lists :)

No.

You need to build the FreeTDS libraries (A free reimplementation of the
Sybase Open Client API - http://www.freetds.org), and then build
DBD::Sybase against these libraries.

I suggest that you amble over to the FreeTDS site and read their
documentation.
