telnet Z
gunzip -c ...| tar xf -
cd DBI-1.28
perl M*PL
make
# now compiling on the Z is a bit slower than on my laptop ... 2 min 
utes later
make test
since rpc modules are missing it skips t/80proxy, but therest are 
running properly (some diags about unsupported stuff with DBI::PurePerl)

so the answer is: YES
