To all,

Never mind...I switched to PPM3 instead and had to sort out the proxy
address. It seems to be connecting now.

Subject: RE: PPM and DBI and Perl ...

Hi all,

I've tried running PPM from the (DOS) command line. Using the install
command within PPM, I get the following:

PPM> install DBI
Install package 'DBI?' (y/N): y
Installing package 'DBI'...
Error installing package 'DBI': Could not locate a PPD file for package
DBI

Is there something I am missing here? Can anyone shed any light on this
problem?

Thanks in advance,

Subject: PPM and DBI and Perl ...

Folks,

Installing DBI on my Windows machine, it suggested using
PPM utility (e.g. ActiveState Perl) to fetch and install
a PreBuilt DBI.

Can someone shed some explanation on how I can use PPM
to fetch and install a PreBuilt DBI, please?

Cheers,
Bahram
