Very early days - and I certainly wouldn't recommend them for
production use yet unless you like living very dangerously,
solving very hard problems, and don't think you're job's at risk.

Repeat after me: "There are *very* few situations where using threads
with the DBI will buy you more efficiency than using multiple
processes, even if threads worked reliably."

"perldoc DBI" is just about it. My tutorials on search.cpan.org may be worth
a read.
