To what wheel, specifically, are you referring? Does it have an implementation in Perl? Does it have an free software implementation? The only thing similar I know about is for formatting query output in Oracle and another in MS SQL Server. This doesn't help people who don't use Oracle or SQL Server or people who want to store queries. (Unfortunately, the Oracle things has the same name.) As far as I know, I am not reinventing it in Perl either, simply adding to what Matt Sergeant already has done with XML::Generator::DBI (at his suggestion). I would welcome hearing about better alternatives. A few months ago someone on this list was asking about how to format SQL output in Perl, so I don't think this is a solved issue. It seemed from your email that you had something like a way to store SQL, have you released your code somewhere that I can download it? Please do _not_ CC me, I am on the list and don't want to receive stuff twice. I recommend getting a MUA that respects the Mail-Followup-To header. dd -- David Dooling
