Does disconnect() require some chitchat with the server? If that is so how can one possibly detect a Ora server problem|timeout|networkloss|serverfailure, disengage from the server and then reconnect to it at a later time? Is there an approved way to do that? -- Mike McCauley [EMAIL PROTECTED] Open System Consultants Pty.
