You need to give some more information, but I suggest you read through the FAQ before posting again, there's a lot of information there:
DBI FAQ (www.xmlproj.com/cgi/fom.cgi) If the FAQ doesn't answer your questions, it will probably give you some guidance. If not, then you'll need to provide: Which platform (Unix/Linux/Windows)? If windows: which perl (ActiveState or custom build)? There's probably some more questions, but that will depend upon some of the answers above.
