Thats another oddity I noticed. But somehow some systems are affected and some not. I compiled a DBD::Oracle today that had these -l switches but did not stumble acros this path (For Lincoln: I tried it there both with and without SHLIB_PATH, same result, a working system. did not try the other system I had problems with).

I had a short look at the Makefile.PL some while ago but never had the time to resolve this. At least, this is a problem that should be possible to solve. Did nobody else complain about this?
