Install Time::HiRes from CPAN if you want this error to go away. It doesn't
affect your DBD module at all though. The HiRes module comes standard with
perl 5.8 which is why you now get the error.

This is a warning concerning an entirely different module, doesn't look
worriesome to me. Should affect your module at all. Just ignore it, you
could upgrade Term::Cap of course but I doubt thats worth the trouble just
for that warning.
If I remember correctly that 'set transaction not allowed here' is
intentional and to be expected ? Check the testoutput, it should say
something like that. Then again, maybe transaction don't work at all on
7.3.4 ? Never used them below Oracle 8 anyway.
