To upgrade the DBI module to a newer release it needs only install the module or I must make some steps before to delete the older version?
Generally, just download, configure, compile, test, install is fine.
You might want to re-install DBI::Shell after installing DBI 1.35.
If you use the CPAN or CPANPLUS modules, configure them with UNINST=1 where appropriate.
