And yes, I know it's www.mysql.com, not .org!  My bad.

For example:
        http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-4.1.html
(depending on the version of MySQL you are using).

and look for 'Libraries and Headers' in the Linux RPMs section.

Headers are not generally available (and if you get them they have to be the right 
version) so I would suggest building the whole thing from source because you have 
control over the optional features.

I've now downloaded DBD-mysql-2.1027 into a directory called /u2/anthony I now run
