Follow-up on Modification of a read-only value attempted in scrip ts after upgrade to DBD 1.14 and DBI 1.37

As a follow-up to my original post it appears that the problem is with Perl
5.8.0 and  DBD 1.14 and DBI 1.37.

When I downgraded my perl to 5.6.1 and recompiled and installed DBD 1.14 and
DBI 1.37 into that environment things work fine.

I don't know what Tim nor the Perl developers need sort up this bug.

Any suggestion of what I can provide them with would be appreciated.
