My OS is Redhat Linux 7.2
My database is PostgreSQL 7.1.3

I have success installed DBI 1.3.7 and DBD-Pg 1.2.2
with out any problem.

I created a testDBI.pl file contains two lines

#!/usr/bin/perl -w
use DBI;

When I execute this file, I got

Can't locate loadable object for module DBI in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5
/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0 /us
r/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux/DBI.pm line 255
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux/DBI.pm line 255.

If I run that file as root (super user), then I don't have this error at all.
Can you tell me why is that? What I need to set up for other users can use DBI?

Thank you!
