Hi
I want a small help from u about installation of DBD & DBI in
linux server.
I downloaded DBI-1.37.tar file and DBD-Oracle-1.14.tar files
1. I installed DBI-1.37 in linux machine.
it successfully installed in location of
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl5.6.0/i386_linux/auto/DBI
2. I installed DBD by using following steps..
1.perl Makefile.PL
2.make
3.make perl
4.make test
5.make install
before installing i set an Environment Variable in .bashrc in
/root
ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracle/app/oracle/product/8.1.6;
export ORACLE_HOME
but from step 2 to 5 it gives an error of
Make : ***[Oracle.o] Error!
I searched about this problem in the README.* files but i could
not get it.
when I make to compile my Database Program?
it gives an errors
install_driver(oracle) failed.
can not locate DBD(oracle.pm in @INC)
