Personally, I dislike SQR, but it was bought as part of the required
software for deploying a buggy, badly designed, worse coded
application.

And I will be the maintainer... That's why I'm looking for
alternatives to do my work  easier, more efficient and 
*maintainable*. Here is where perl comes to the rescue, if I can
convince the SQR guys that perl is not a cryptographic algorythm.
