The biggest issue is that you are connecting to SQL Server and not getting
multiple result sets (seemingly). I wouldn't worry about it, unless your
application needs to handle multiple result sets in a single query.

Also, on Solaris, FreeTDS and DBD::Sybase is probably the way I'd start, just
because that's more of what they are made for...

Subject: make test fails for DBD::ODBC on Solaris 5.8 with openlink driver

Hi,

I have perl 5.8.0 and Solaris 5.8 with the single tier ODBC driver for
connecting to SQL Server from OpenLink Software, along with their iODBC
driver manager.

This combination will make, but fails the tests. I don't think the
t/02simple are too much to worry about but can anyone help with the
failures on t/03dbatt.t and t/09multi.t?

I am unsure how much importance to attach to the failures and I
naturally don't want to put something into production I don't have full
confidence in.

Any help appreciated.

Duncan Baillie
