Most likely, your Perl was distributed with AIX - well, if it is in /bin or /usr/bin, that is almost certainly true; if it is in /usr/local/bin or some other location, maybe someone on your team did build it. However it was built, you need to have the same compiler - cc_r - available to you now. If the compiler is on the machine, fix your PATH. If it is not on the machine, install it.
