That is a good question. I have had many complaints about this over the past year. I think it is about time someone-most likely me- post some .pps for older other clients. Not promising anything but I will see what I can do.
For the present I would run through the Readme.win32.txt one more time it realy only requires a good deal of time to do the the downloads and then a few mins to actually do the compile and install no knolege of C or even programming is required just follow the docs.
