Thanks for the reply Dan. Yes, I have the ODBC drivers installed. I'm using the PostgreSQL database and I can connect to my DB remotely as well as locally. I have also run the odbc test to ensure I could connect to the db using the unixODBC driver. So, I'm confident unixODBC and PostgreSQL Db are configured correctly and operational. I believe this is a problem with the Perl ODBC library build. Craig
