[I wrote this last week but got forgotten in my Pending mail folder till now]
I'd cancel the order. It shouldn't be available for pre-order. There is a new edition partly written (by Jeff Zucker and myself) but it's less than half done, not been touched for about a year, and I doubt it'll be touched anytime soon. We still plan to complete it, but first I want to have something concrete to put in it about DBI2 and Perl6. If only to give myself the inspiration I need to write prose. But at the moment I don't have anything concrete to say about DBI2 and Perl6. That needs to change. Tim. On Thu, Nov 29, 2007 at 07:47:15AM -0700, Brian H.
