Any script I try to run results in the error:
Database connection not made: ORA-12505: TNS:listener does not
currently know of SID given in connect descriptor (DBD ERROR:

Bypassing TNS by specifying the connection as
"host=hostname:port;sid=sid" works, so we're doing that for the moment.
